Here at Andrew James Garden Lighting
we are unique in that we are the true one-stop shop for all your
garden and outdoor lighting needs. All of our design and installation
experience is in-house.
Our designer Andrew James has over 20 years experience in outdoor
electrical installations. His lighting designs are best described
as subtle rather than theatrical, embracing the principle that ‘less
is more’. Over-zealous designers often leave properties looking
like a cross between Wembley Stadium and Heathrow Airport !
We have an impressive knowledge of the light fittings themselves
so we only specify good quality, reliable products.
We have plenty of horticultural experience too. An understanding
of how a particular plant specimen is going to mature ensures
we use the correct lighting technique. This understanding helps
us to create such wonderful lighting effects.
We are based in the small rural Essex village of Hadstock, on
the Essex, Cambridge and Suffolk borders. Much of our work can
be seen throughout Hertfordshire where we have worked closely
with landscape and garden designer Antony Henn at Gardens for
Life - www.gardensforlife.com.
